Horses must always be watered before feeding. If watered immediately after heavy grain feeding, water rushes grain through the small stomach into the cecum and intestines before stomach enzymes can act, leading to fatal acute colic.
हिन्दीस्वर्णिम नियम: दाना खिलाने से पहले पानी पिलाना चाहिए। दाना खाने के तुरंत बाद पानी देने से भोजन बिना पचे आंतों में चला जाता है जिससे जानलेवा कोलिक (पेट दर्द) हो सकता है।
